    I experimented with talking about crowdfunding and my Patreon more actively on Twitter this year, and that helped a bit, but reaching new audiences drives much more growth: my appearance on Dwarkesh's podcast led to most of my new subscribers this year. All in all, my income is still somewhere between that of a postdoc and that of junior faculty.
